This hospital is terrible. I broke my shoulder went there two times and was told I was fine. No, I find out 10 years later it was broken. They told my son he was constipated. We took him to Rockford and they did emergency surgery because of his intestines bulging inside a tear in his diaphram. They did experimental surgery on my other son who then died because he wasn't taken to a hospital to handle that kind of surgery. My 59 year old mother went there with severe chest pains and wasn't seen for 55 minutes. She was having a massive heart attack. Thank goodness for Rockford again. She was Dead on Arrival, but was Saved by Saint Anthony's staff. I could go on and on. Only go there if you have to and pray you make it out.

Swedish American Hospital
1401 E State St, Rockford, Stillman Valley,
A week or so ago, my daughter checked into 3rd floor Labor and Delivery at 11:00 pm as she was about to give birth to her first child. She was checked in by the rudest nurse imagineable who took down all her information without so much as bothering to make eye contact. I guess making patients feel welcome and comfortable isn't high on this hospital's priority list. The rest of the staff were very nice, however.
